YBF Eyebrow Pencil..alternatives?

I've recently come across this at a friend's house. Saw it on her dressing table, she let me try it, I love it. BUT......£16+ for an eyebrow pencil?? Are there any alternatives? The one she has is Universal Brown and it looked great on my rather pathetic eyebrows. I will pay the price if I have to as I've been searching for my HG eyebrow pencil for the last 20 years, but I'd rather not if there's a good alternative out there somewhere.

How strange I just recommended this on another thread, try Collection 2000 Eyebrow Pencil in Blonde, its a taupe colour with no red tones and responds to pressure so you can have it as dark or light as you like, it costs about £2 I think but I normally buy when there is a 3 for 2 offer on which is quite regularly, its one of my hg products, available in Boots, Superdrug etc but grab it wihile you can cos its popular - hth:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

Thanks glowgirl, I've been looking for a YBF alternative for ages, will try the Collection 2000 one. It's the red tones in other pencils that don't work for me, so this sounds ideal.0

^^^^^^ as above. As a redhead the lightest ones in both of these ranges suit me perfectly, much better than the premium brand ones. They aren't red toned so do look natural. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0 -
YBF is my HG eyebrow pencil. I have a couple in my stash. Love it, but will definitely be checking the Collection 2000. They have some good stuff and really cheap.0

I've got an Avon book here somewhere, I'll have a look at their's, and probably get the Collection 2000 one as well, for that price it's not a disaster if I don't like it.
Thanks all of you0 -
Thanks for the suggestions, I've also been looking for a YBF alternative as they are being discontinued in the UK so will soon be too expensive to bother with importing.
Will definitely try the Collection 2000 one, I liked the pressure sensitive aspect of YBF so this appeals to me0 -

How come YBF is being discontinued in the UK? I know that it's not on QVC anymore but I thought that it was on Ideal World?Jane
