Starting in the beautiful Hungarian capital of Budapest, you’ll cruise the legendary Danube through three countries to Rousse, gateway to the Romanian capital of Bucharest.

On this unique journey, you’re sure to be impressed with the charming secrets of lesser-known destinations too. You will visit 2,000-year-old P!cs – designated one of the European Capitals of Culture in 2010; enjoy guided sightseeing tours of Vukovar in Croatia and Serbia’s second largest city Novi Sad; and explore the attractions of Belgrade including the mighty Kalemegdan Fortress .

And your subtly decadent, custom-designed river ship will glide through the incredible natural wonders known as the Iron Gates before you explore a 14th-century castle in Vidin.

Your journey concludes with a full day excursion to stunning Bucharest, including a visit to the magnificent Palace of Parliament – the world’s largest palace.

  • Dear Sirs,

I have been trying for nearly 10 days to access the form to enter the competition that you advertise, for a Danube cruise for Two. Although the link proivides access to several holidays and cruises the Danube cruise is not one that is shown. I am puzzled and wonder where I can find the means to enter this competition as I am keen to try for an 80th birthday present for my husband.

    Please help and advise.

    Jacqueline Mountain.
