Buying Online With HMV

I recently (05/10/06) ordered a dvd box set with HMV, costing £150 but it has yet to be delivered.On my order staus with HMV it says the order has been completed by them. It says to wait 14days before emailing them but i am really worried about this. Does anyone have a number i could contact HMV on and if they believe it is completed am i able to get my money back? Any help would be much appreciated

Hi I also ordered & was awaiting delivery, I emailed them & they said they were out of stock & wouldnt be able to obtain anymore.
The item is still listed on the website.
I asked when they were going to tell me this & got no reply.

I have found a phone number 02074671109 but was on hold for ages so I gave up & ordered from amazon last thursday & it arrived today.

Thanks!!I was going to order my son the bond dvd set £200 from HMV but I will now get it from amazon.At least I know that is tried and tested as I have shopped with amazon a lot. :T

i ordered from Hmv the order took 6 days to deliver which is extremely slow but it was £5 cheaper than anywhere else so i am happy

Remember to go through Quidco for HMV and eNectar cards for Amazon.

HMV are normally quite slow with their delivery, but I've never had items fail to be delivered (eventually!). I normally shop from Play, their delivery times are brilliant and normally great value.

I have also ordered from HMV before only for them to cancel my order after several weeks," unable to source stock", the reason. I would only use them when I had to, and then it`s a lottery if they have it.

I've had a double cd on order for about 5 weeks.
They have sent me 2 e-mails to say that they are trying various suppliers to source the item, as with Bambams order.
The item has been listed as in stock since I ordered it.
I'll probably cancel it if it doesn't turn up this week.
At least they did say they wouldn't take the money from my credit card until it was dispatched.
