Hello
Just spotted an interesting thread on HUKD (thanks to luvabargin) - where the OP spotted that some of the toys in their local ASDA had been reduced again.
One example was a massive box of megabloks which were £40 then £20 and now £11
Other examples
Big Ford Monster Truck Was £50 (half price)Now £37
Tonka Truck with 3 cars was £25 (half price)Now £17
Iron Man Lego Type 3 box set Was £25 (half price) Now £18
Elec Guitar with Amp Was £60 (half price) Now £40
Champs League Fussball was £50 (half price) Now £25
Postman pat railway Was 30 (half price) NOW £15
These were seen in Asda Wigan Store - so no idea if this is now nationwide but may be worth a trip to the toy section to see
Looks like there are also reductions online

In my Asda also, just coming on to post. Glad you got there before me cos I can hardly remember any of them. I got the Baby Born Swimmer for £15

Same price at Woolies but it's out of stock there.
Also http://direct.asda.com/Colouring-Table/000716536,default,pd.html for £100 -
These toys were way over priced in the first place even at half price! They are probably around the right price now.

When I was in Asda the day the Sainsburys toy sale started I was talking to the lady on the till. We got talking about Christmas and toys etc. I told her I had been to the Sainsbury toy sale that morning I said rather matter of factly
that their toy sale is a real sale and the toys ARE really half price, I thought she was going to get funny with me but she laughed and said the toys they had in Asda were never that price, I was quite shocked that she said that actually being an Asda employee but it was funny, she had no idea about the Sainsburys sale and told me she was going to pop in when she finished work :rotfl: 0
