Recently divorced - ex wont pay 1/2

Split from wife and now divorced. Our house we bought together is in negative equity. Neither of us live there. Bank agreed 6 months ago to reduce mortgate to interest only. We have been paying 1/2 each. My ex has now stopped putting her half in and I can't afford to cover costs on my own. Any advice please? Should I opt for voluntary repossession and cut my losses?

Not sure why you think that having house repossesed is cutting your losses...If the house is worth less than the mortgage you will both be responsible for the shortfall, plus there will be a significant affect on your credit worthiness.....Couldnt you rent the house out to cover the mortgage0
