i have hair that was highlighted by the hairdresser but my roots are very bad now. I've been toying with the idea of colouring my own hair for some time now as I hate the faff and the time spent sitting around while I'm getting it done professionally. Does anyone know if this dye will be ok to use on top of highlights, grey hair and dark roots? (:o)

How long ago did you have your highlights done???

Im guessing it was a while ago, which means it should be fine to use on your hair now.

Although i couldnt tell you how it would 'look'' being used on grey hair, as grey hair is very different to normal coloured hair, its more pourous I think, meaning you need to reduce the time its on your head. But if its just a few grey hairs and not an entire head full it should be fine.

Thanks. It's been about 6 weeks since I had my highlights done and then it was just the top of my head. I think that's why it's looking really bad already. And yes, it is just a few grey hairs so I think I might go for it. It sounds much easier to use than others I've been looking at.

I have always highlighted and dyed my own hair, I went for my hair cutting at tony & guys and the colourisy asked who had done such a fantastic job :rotfl:

Its really easy to use.
