Hi
Apologies if this is the wrong message board to post it on, but i'm fairly new and could not find a section to post things about cars...
I've found a website that looks too good to be true. I'm thinking of buying a new car and found this website offering 0% finance on most cars for 5 years.
Is this a good deal and would you recommend using it?

The reason they offer 0% for 5 years is because you pay the full rrp price for the car.
Try https://www.dixonmotors.co.uk they have some really good bargains at the minute and offer 0% for 18 months. I have just bought an MG ZR, the list price including extras is £12,000, I paid just under £7,500. They also gave me a good price for my trade-in.
Click on 'new cars' and then 'hottest deals' on the left hand side for the best buys.0 -
Thanks, i've had a look and made a few inquiries, but i think thats a bit too far up north for me.
Do you/anyone know any good websites in the south east?0 -
I don't know of any others with 0% deals.
Here are a few other good car websites:
https://www.motorpoint.co.uk (Derby) Some really good deals - Brand new Ford Mondeo Zetec, a great spec car for £9,995.
https://www.greattradecentre.co.uk (London Area) Known as Car Giant, they sell second hand cars. Most are almost new with low mileage and low price tags.
https://www.trade-sales.co.uk (London Area) Good offers on new/used cars.0 -

some main dealers offer 0% over a number of years....bought my £15900 307xsi...on 0% rather than pay cash....so ive saved 300-400 or so more byu keeping my cash in a high interest account......plus i negotiated a £3000 discount...so car has effectively cost me approx £12500......at the time the best what car could do was £14.1K....bit cheaper now though and i think they did a 4 year 0% deal...ford also have similar deals i thinkStevie Coppell's record breaking blue and white royal army - championship winners 2005-60 -

I got my bike on 0% for 18months, most manufacturers now have to offer it on some models or they'll lose the sale. I think most 0% deals are done by black horse. They loose money on the 0% but make lots of money by pre-approving people who need credit on high interest loans, just before my finance ended they kept sending loads of loan offers through to me.0

I've just bought a Ford Focus and paid for it with a Super Balance Transfer from 0% Virgin Credit Card. If you can get enough credit I think this is the way to go - dealers are offering 0% because they DO gain from it somehow whether it be commission for the salesman, admin fees, 50% deposit (which they can then invest) etc etc etc
Good luck and happy motoring!0 -
