    Dear Mr Debenhams,

Please please can I have a treadmill for Christmas at the reasonable price of £29.74 (including free delivery and tracking via TCB). I've not yet received my cancellation e-mail and therefore assume that my order has been accepted.

If you are ever passing my house and wish to have a go on the aforementioned treadmill, you are more than welcome (assuming I've not sold it).

    Thanks in advance

Looking at some of their other items (Timeshare info etc) looks to be a bit of a scammer!

    Dear Mr Wannabe-Fit,

For the princely sum of £0 you can get fit by running outside for free or if it's too cold you can run around in circles in-doors.

    Hope that helps.

the feedback's not too good either

I certainly wouldn't be bidding on any of their stuff, but I now have a strange compulsion to watch their items

so do debenhams take the money from your card, or do they just put it in reserve with your cardholder?

Normally would just put a 'hold' on your card, but in my case took it and then said they'd refunded when they hadn't. Took Months to sort it out and had to email them bank statements etc. don't know why I bothered this time, really thought they were reduced!!:rotfl:

    Dear Debenhams Monitoring Team,

    Thank you for your feedback.

Although it is true that I can run outside, unfortunately at this time of year my tootsies get very cold.

We have a cycling machine at home already that I could use for exercise; however unfortunately it is currently being used as a clothes-horse in our spare room and so cannot be used for its intended purpose. Please please honour my treadmill purchase. Even if I don't use the treadmill for exercise, it will give us a lot more hanging space for our wet washing which would be very handy.

Thanking you in advance for your kindness.
