Is £10 too expensive for 100 bun cases ?

I was just looking through the new Cath Kidston magazine and saw that they are selling 100 bun cases for £10.They look just like the ones I bought in Sainsburys the other week for 79p for a 100.
I was wondering if I was the only one who thought they were way over priced.I really like Cath Kidston but think her prices are way to high for the quality of her goods which seem to be getting poorer quality.

No matter if they were gold plated, £10 for 100 is far too expensive for something which will go straight in the bin after one use. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window Every worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 Every worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Oh my goodness, that is jaw droppingly shocking ->
Never, never, never (you get the idea?) would i pay £10 for 100 bun cases. If i had money enough to spend that amount on bun cases i would head to a supermarket, buy 100 cases for less than £1 and donate the other £9 to charity.
I like some Cath Kidston items and designs, but at the end of the day, i'm not a 'labels' kind of person. Some people buy 'labels' clothes, some people don't...some people buy 'labels type' £10 bun cases, and some people make really nice cakes that don't need frills to make them look/taste absolutely wonderful. Yes- far too expensive for something that will end up in the bin once the buns are eaten0

absolutely shocking! No way, even if I had the moneyPeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Thanks for the link. The box in my ever so humble opinion, looks far nicer than the actual bun cases...:DGrocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

I thought I was being silly when I bought the expensive pastel coloured asda ones which were a few pence more than the plain white :eek:Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

My mum picked me up some polka dot cake cases just like these from Mr S very cheaply! Cath Kidson is very over priced and that style is now ubiquitous.0
