I have searched around and have been unable to find any discounts for the Omlet Eglu and have found none. They are a great product but they sell for almost as much as they are new on eBay.
I can't even see any referal websites that give a few % back. Anyway, al help greatly appreciated.

my friend has several eglus and said to us that they get 'rehomed' by people when they move or upgrade so if you can find a users forum then there will be ads on there in a freecycle style. If you don't have any joy then PM me and I'll get more info from her.0

You can also ring up the company and they occasionally have some that they have used for showing or demonstration purposes which they sell with a small discount. I know what you mean about the price though, I've wanted one of these for a long while and second hand or used unfortunately doesn't come with a second hand price with these things.I've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0

I've looked into the eglu forum thing and because of the high demand there aren't any free ones on there at the moment. You can do a week's free trial of the forum if you go to the eglu site and put your email address in but I'm not sure you can join permanently unless you're already an owner but may be worth asking. If you can join and you get involved then you'll be told by other members when they're passing their old eglus on and may be able to get them at a good discount...0

I have chickens, and when I first got them (about three years ago), I did look at the eglu. I came to the conclusion that (nothing personal, but) they are aimed at city people (which I am) who want a taste of the 'Good Life'. I looked at them, and saw them at a show, and in all honesty I believe they are overpriced and undersized.
You can either make one for much less money.
I made a lovely one that has a coop which is 3'x3', on stilts so that they can go underneath, making good use of the space, with a walk-in run (wonderful, I can actually catch my chickens when they don't want to come up to me - in an eglu you'd have to crawl in) and the run is about 10'x3', plus the space underneath, which serves several purposes
1. Dry area, it's a nice big dustbathe which they won't be able to have if you keep moving the eglu around the garden or put it on wood chips.
2. Dry area that they can go under when it's raining.
3. The coop is higher so I don't have to bend down when cleaning out (lovely)
4. Extra space
It cost me about £100 (including small guage chicken wire, which was the major cost) to make this.
However, if you are not so comfortable with a hammer and nails, you can buy a more traditional wooden chicken coop. I have seen this brand a several shows, and they look quite sturdy and long lasting, as well as practical.

The ROMNEY 303 suitable for 2 medium sized hens, £270.50
PENSHURST 404 suitable for 4-5 medium sized hens, £532
FORSHAM 603 suitable for bantam trio, £209.50
FORSHAM 605 suitable for for 5 medium sized hens, £244
BOUGHTON 902 suitable for for 5 medium sized hens £260
This is just a small selection of them, I'm sure you can look at them in more detail yourself, but they are all as big or bigger than the eglu, and cheaper.
BTW, don't be fooled by the aftercare service, I am happy to answer any questions about chickens, and I run my own website on them - https://www.allaboutchickens.tk and I learnt everything I know about them from an internet community (the first chicken one, and still the best) at http://p072.ezboard.com/bbackyardchickens where I have the same name
