Looking for advice

Just looking for advice from you lovely people!

At the moment I'm overpaying my mortgage on a fixed rate of 5.63% (horrible) with Nationwide.

I currently have just over two years remaining on this mortgage. Do you think it would be worth me switching and paying the redemption fee (around £2500) to switch to the HSBC tracker rate of 1.79 over the base rate (the interest rate would then be 2.29). My mortgage balance at the moment is £82k.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I was going to suggest the same. There is a 'should i ditch my fix' tool which will help you decide if it is worthwhile.
