    Hi - what are these please? I think my daughter has been talking about them.

    they are rubber bands that are shaped like things ie animals shoes guitars ps my boys are 8 and 11 so it seems as though its mainly kids around the same age lol

  • My kids would love some of these but I have denined them the chance of getting any due to the name they are being called in the playground.

    Sorry if this causes offence to anyone but they have been given the name "shag bands"

    yeah my 2 call them that too, they have been banned from some school here, mine are 13 and 16 and both wear them

    they were called shag bands when i was in school too, supposedly if you broke someones shag band you had to have sex with them... though we were like 9 at the time. i think it's silly really, none of us ever acted on the word of the bracelet. have some faith in your kids!

    at the end of the day, they are what you want them to be, to me and my friends, they were friendship bracelets.

    eta: i was 9 14 years ago btw
