HC & Co solicitors / Cl Finance - Scare tactics ?

Options
HI, Would just like peoples opinions on this letter i recieved a couple of days ago. Personally i think its an attempt into scaring me to make contact / pay up as the debts been going on for almost 6 years i think.
Dear.....

In the Northampton county court, claim number .... CL Finance Limited - £962.34

You have faile dto maintain payments in accordance wit hthe judgement order, We are now instructed to issue an application for an order that you attend court for questioning.

You will be ordered to attend court before a district judge ( or one of his officers), to be examined under oath, about your financial circumstances. You will be required to give details of your income and expenditure, property and other assets and produce documentary evidence.

Repeated failure to attend the examination hearing may result in your imprisonment for contempt of court.

You can prevent the issue of an application for you to be questioned and avoid having to attend at court by bringing the payments due under the judgement order up to date, You must telephone today to agree the payment amount.

If you fail to make contact we will proceed without further notice to you.

Yours faithfully,

Blah blah

So what are peoples opinions on this ? Anyone recieved anything similar or been forced to go to court in these circumstances ?

A bit of background info is begining of the year a court bailiff came to the house ( very nice and helpfull bloke indeed i may add) and asked me to pay x amount regarding outstanding monies with CL finance. I said i couldnt pay due to not in employment and explained why (stay at home dad etc) and he said fine - but ill have to put something down that says if you dont pay up within X amont of days they can take your property - I agreed and all he listed was my car, which then was a 1987 escort lol. Anyway he came round again the other day - he was just in the area dealing with something else and popped round to tell me that CL finance had finished there dealings with him, asked him to return the paper work etc, and not instructed him to go any further in attempting to remove my property.

Hope that makes sense ?

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
