Notice of sums in arrears

Hello, I received a letter today from direct legal & collections about a debt which I received a default on in 2008. The letter says it is a notice of sums in arrears.
It states -

Closing balance (including arrears) 307.78
Arrears 307.78

I already have a default for this account. Does this letter mean that something else will happen? I have looked through the internet but cannot really get a proper explanation of what this letter or a notice of sum of arrears means.

Thanks

It's just a standard notice that the creditor can send.

Under the Consumer Credit Act 2006 it can't be sent more frequently than once very 6 months, must contain certain info, and be accompanied by a copy of the OFT 'arrears' information sheet.

So all completely standard, and doesn't really signify anything.
