Made to measure Roller blinds- Glasgow

neighbours just got the man in the wee blue van,look nice, but they are not the type to splash the cash willy nilly.

I asked the salesman - are they stiched or glued?

Stiched he replied.

I am now on the second set as the glue is separating on the edging. The lying !!!!!!.

They are less than 3 months old.

Utter rubbish. What a waste of £1200.

It's probably not worth paying a fortune to have a company come out and measure them for you. I did, and for what I got, it wasn't worth it. Don't get me wrong, I was happy with what I got, but feel I could have got the same product for cheaper elsewhere. Don't forget, you've got the salespersons' overheads to cover.

There is a place in Argyle Street, near TJ Hughes and the Tron Clock who will make blinds made to measure, they just ask you to measure the inside of your window frame. I haven't used them yet, but plan to.

If you live near Paisley, then the stall inside the Paisley Centre makes good quality blinds for a reasonable price. My Sister and Mum have used them a couple of times now.

These small companies will usually have access to the same materials that the bigger companies (that advertise) use.
