Payday Loan Query

I wonder if anyone could answer a query I have please

About a month ago (or a bit over) I registered with a debt help company to get myself back on an even keel as I had been paying my payday loans not only the interest but money off the balance as well but it never seemed to reduce.
Anyway debt help company said to cancel my cards with the bank and get new ones issued then loan companies couldnt take money off me then all i had 2 do was make one payment a month to debt help and they would pay my creditors.
Problem is that one of the payday loans have used my old card details, gone into my account and taken £300 even though they called me a few days before they took it to say that as I am with debt help they would not take any money & would deal with debt help instead.
A woman at the debit card dispute team said they are entitled to take money out my acount as I owe them money

Is this right cos if it is I am changing were my wages go to?

i may be wrong, but my understanding is it is the bank account linked to the card that enables payday loans to be claimed.maybe, better to close your account and sort out a repayment plan with payday company.i know that someone may be along soon to help you.

I am going to have my wages paid into another account and just pay the debt help company so they can pay my creditors. I am pretty sure the loans were based on my card details but is it likely that as I had advised them I had gone to a debt help company and changed my card details that they were in the wrong for taking money from my account (after saying they wouldnt) and based on the fact they didn't have my authorisation to take money can I claim it back via the bank dispute department?

I think that it is based on the account. however, open a new account that is basic, no OD with it.I have had a loan from a payday company myself and I know how easy it is that you can spiral down.How much do you owe?.I am sure that you have explored the option of a family loan, mass ebay sell.I used them because at the time I needed the money & with dire credit thought it would be okay, but , it is a bad feeling when the end seems a long long way ahead til it is cleared.Contact them and tell them that you are in a DMP so that may deter them from contacting you at work.I think that because you had the same account number that justified them from claiming ,

Just a thought, hope your DMP is with a non fee paying company .

Yeah I dont pay them. If no money is going into account the bank would just knock them back wouldnt they?
