Nationwide Mortgage Offer

Hi
We today received an offer subject to survey for the mortgage we want for our new house. Planning to have the survey carried out tomorrow / friday. Does anyone know if this is the last piece of the jigsaw and if this all goes well we are def getting the mortgage?
I ask as we have sold our flat and need to be out in 4 weeks, but i am scared to start cancelling bills / re-directing mail etc incase something goes wrong and we need to end up renting.
Thanks in advance

You need to get moving if you intend moving into the house in 4 weeks time.0

Until exchange anything can happen. Mortgage offer could be refused, seller could pull out of the deal, buyer could pull out of the deal etc. etc. Until exchange has happened via the solicitors then you shouldn't change any bills, book any removals as the deal is not 100% until that point.0

Thanks, i'm in Scotland tho so we don't have exchange. Our sellers have signed the missives and we're waiting until we get the green light from Nationwide before signing ours. Our survey was done today so hopefully hear tomorrow or Monday0 -

Hi Leela, first of all - good luck and hopefully all goes well for you, second - could I please ask for a massive favour? Could you please let me know once you have received your mortgager offer? The reason I am asking is I have a provisional offer from Nationwide subject to survey and the survey was also done about 5 days ago and I still havent received a final signed offer from them. Just really wondering what the hold up is.
Thanks in advance0
