How much have you spent today Sunday 15/10 & the new Sun to Fri challenge!

Hello DFWs :)

I am so late with this thread today  I've been baking and batch cooking and doing all sorts of good DFW little things! :D Hope it has been a good Sunday for everyone.

I didn't spend a penny today with being in and busy all day :j I am going to challenge myself to not spend more than £30 this week. More than my usual but I have a couple of colleagues departing and I want to join them for a drink or two.

I didn't do all that well in last week's challenge :( I decided to have an eye brow wax and lunch with two friends. Both were supposed to happen yesterday but instead took place during the challenge so I was way over :o

Hope everyone else did better than me though and here's the list :)
  1. Challenger Amount
  2. Jesscat 5
  3. Mrs(mo)money 20
  4. Wonder_Girl 10
  5. rog2 20
  6. Gemmzie 10
  7. Kevicho 20
  8. PAP 8.55
  9. Keith 30
  10. Willsnarf1983 20
  11. CAFCGirl 10
  12. rachelmk 17
  13. sans 125 (if I added it right!)

EDIT: Just realised, including me, there were 13 challengers on the week that ended on Friday the 13th! Spooky.... :rotfl:

Hope we have some good results :T

Have a lovely evening everyone.

Moozie x

    evening moozie

well today has been a total spend of £3.16 but that bought me two bottles of diet fizzy pop, two cartons of fruuit juice, a bottle of squash and a tube of after eight straws in sainsbury's. so all good.

i have just counted the contents of my purse £8.99. this is my spends for the week which is very achievable, i've already bought the food for my meals till sunday aside from a few veggies to buy nearer the end of the week. friday is payday when i'll sort out all my cashflow for the next month, hopefully clear one of my od's which will be a huge :j , my first debt cleared since becoming a dfw. fingers crossed i get what i'm expecting.

    good luck all x

    Nothing today :j :j

Well, found £11.20 in change in my purse. So, £6.80 goes straight into the car for car parking (although I'll probably forgotten that I've put it there by tomorrow :rotfl:). Leaves £4.40 - lunch is £2.50. Leaving me £1.90 for general spending cashwise

But I'm buying a coat tomorrow for £27 - so will go for a nice round £40 for the week :D

  • Hi Moozie:wave:

I didnt spend anything today:D - ive been baking and keeping myself busy at home too.

I'm up for the challenge again - count me in! I think £15 should more than cover it as no bus ticket to buy this week.

good luck to everybody for the week ahead!

only petrol money back from a wedding today guys. spent the rest of the day and evening snoozing and watching TV on the sofa - cheap and exactly what the doctor ordered.

not sure what I'll be spending this week - proper budgeting is my next challenge.

    have good weeks everybody

This challenge sounds interseting but I'm not sure I undertsand it. Could someone explain it please ?

Coucou24.gif basically mozzie likes to keep us all in trim so we all have to give a bugdet (as little or as much as we like) for sunday to friday (inclusive) and we all post everyday what we spend and then on sunday we post our totals and see if we stick in budget... i class it as 'extra' spends ie not bils/direct debits... a bit of fun really but it stops me buying stuff as i have to answer to mozzie :rotfl:
