OK so I've left everything to the last minute now and apart from balloons and banquet roll, I have an entire party to decorate for. Its on Saturday night.
The theme is western and I do not think anything I order online will arrive on time. Plus the stupid surcharges to Northern Ireland.
Where can I get decorations in N.I? Its a 30th anniversary.

We often have parties with a western (wildwest/mexican/fiesta) theme and I'm forever stocking up with [STRIKE]tat[/STRIKE] 'scene setter' accessories.
I have bought quite a number of things recently from Matalan infact on Sunday I'm pretty sure Matalan at Abbeycentre had a few bits and pieces which might be suitable AND they are reduced.0 -
Hi There - Party Shop on the Belmont Road, owner is called Sonia, and she is V Helpful.
We have also bought bits and bobs for parties from TK Maxx - amazing what you find in their homewares section, plus there is Wyse Byse, Cregagh Rd and N'ards Rd Belfast, and Ballymena I think. Stuart Millar in Bangor used to keep some stuff, Creative Cakes for cake decorating or ofcourse www.bakedinbelfast.com for your cakes and cupcakes! Haybales from a friendly farmer, raid the home of any Country & Western fan you know or what about Elliotts in Belfast for fancy dress costumes!
Sounds like fun, hope you have a great night!DJWW - cos we won't let it!0 -
Worth having a look in poundland and poundworld as they do some great party stuff
matalan definately do a great western theme range and quite often reduced!!0 -
Thanks for the reply's. Unfortunately I don't no any farmers which sucks. I saw straw bales in a pet shop but they where not big enough.
Heading into Belfast tomorrow. Went to Ballymena tonight and got some 7 foot hanging things but thats all they had. Tried B and M, poundland, clinton cards, etc all had nothing. The party shop is where I got the hanging deco from but thats all they had. Costume is nearly complete. Just need a sheriff badge which I might just make.
Cake. Wow what a hassle thats been. Originally we where going to make one, because to buy one the way we want would be expensive. Then we decided on a happy medium and thought we will buy plain iced cake or sponge and decorate it ourselves. Been to all the major supermarkets and all they have are decorated cakes! Apart from M&S that has a wedding cake but its £55 for the bottom tier! Has to feed 60 peops0 -
You can have a photo - or picture - scanned and printed onto a cake at Asda or Tesco. Tesco's cake is fairly small but Asda do a large size for about £15 and it says it serves 40.0
