Suprised that this isn't already being discussed.

REC & KPMG both highlight that job creation is falling. Further, they expect this trend to continue.
That is a little worrying, especially as seasonal jobs don't appear to help buck the trend.
So if jobs aren't being created - especially in the private sector, what impact will that have on the austerity?
For the inflationistas out there, wage inflation for permanent jobs is at a 3 month high.;)

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

I have spent the last couple of days trying to populate a town website with jobs.... and for that particular town there are none. I managed to get a scrape directly from the Jobcentreplus listings - and that's producing one job every two weeks.
I am still looking at every resource I can to try to find some jobs. Reed's just as bad - two there I think... rest are adverts for learning to become a driving instructor... or just big national ads, generic ads run across the entire Reed network.
Local agencies ... well, there's one here. 0 jobs. County-wide - I've found about 3 jobs.0 -
Job appointments grew at their slowest rate in 14 months in October, according to a survey.
...
It said one reason for the slowdown was that fewer vacancies were appearing.
We simply must get these people on Mastermind. Specialised subject 'the bl*ee*ding obvious'.0 -

Couple of the agencies in my town centre have closed down Pastures.
In addition to the OP, I wonder if we'll move away from agencies, or they will become more common? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

It's not that obvious, most companies I've worked for never advertise jobs, because they didn't need to. It's all word of mouth.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”
