need to buy a new camera (old ones 10 years old )
Any advice on this

Appears to have some fairly good reviews though some say:

"Viewfinder is poor in sunlight."

"No viewfinder"

"On the surface simple to use but has many options which can be confusing when moving away from standard snaps."

"There is a lot to take in with the different settings"

Just had a look on Cnet and found this which might be helpful. Cnet appears to be quite reliable.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ38 for around the same price appears to be a better camera though. This has an 18x optical zoom though but might be worth considering.
