hi, not sure if this is completely the right section for this post, could also have put it in the mobile section of telecom board.....
alot of people often try and get rid of their operator logo on a colour screen handset, so they can view the wallpaper image/photo fully without the obtrusive text on it.. sompe people even pay £3 on websites like jamster for their blank 'eraser logo'
well the following link gives you details on how to download a blank operator logo to a nokia mobile, for free, all you pay for is the cost of the data downloaded (cost me 1p on o2) through your WAP/GPRS connection.
here's the link with all details: http://www.thenokiazone.com/index.php?pager=blank-operator-logo

you dont have to pick anything! you just enter the url provided for the logo into your phones WAP browser and it downloads, on Nokia phones it install's automatically after you confirm it
doesnt mention that it works on a samsung, but i cant see the harm in trying it out0 -

you can hide the operator logo on the d500 without having to download anything.
Cant remember the settings but you can do it as I did it to mine when I had mine about two years ago.
