Can anybody help me if I go into store and do some photo processing I have about 2000 pics  (from the past 5 years!!!) would it trigger on the till for the extra points?
I have looked at prices and appears I can get each pic at 5p so same as online, just thinking of extra points - unsure how to squeeze them all onto memory stick but hummm I will work around that somehow :rotfl:Thanks

You would be there forever, and as its such a huge order they probably wont finish processing it until the poins offer has finished.

Or you could split your order 1000 photos now & 1000 photos a the next points event.

(you could also try photobox, they are more suited to large orders)
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!

Just copy and paste the address bar into a post for links to other sites or threads, also if you copy the # of a post it will add it as a link.#63 :)

Good Idea that way I should squeeze them onto the memory cards too :T and as long as I make sure its 1000 photos it will trigger the points, in theory only costing me £40 or £80 over the 2 points events (or so I hope!) Thanks :A

There is a Save £2 WYS £10 or more using the Boots Digital Photo processing Service coupon in the new Boots Health and Beauty magazine - Free magazine to Advantage Card holders. You obv won't be able to get the extra points at the event that's on at the minute though, so probably not that helpful?! :) x

Let us know if you do get the extra points because I have a lot of photo's to print too and extra points would be perfect as the costs are coming to quite a large sum!
  • Actually, it seems you don't get the bonus points on photo printing:

    Terms and Conditions
£50 must be spent in a single transaction, and does not include delivery charges
The offer is available in store and online at boots.com from 05/11/2010 to 07/11/2010 only.
Points are not available on prescription items, infant milks (up to 6 months), gift vouchers/cards, gift boxes and delivery charges.
Unfortunately points cannot be spent on boots.com.
No cash alternative is available and the offer is non-transferable.
This offer is not available online on boots flowers, boots kitchen appliances, BUPA Health Checks, Boots Digital Photo Centre, at Boots services websites (Opticians, Treat Street, Boots Insurance Services) or with other third party websites unless otherwise stated.
The offer cannot be used in conjunction with certain other boots.com offers.
Boots UK Limited reserves the right to withdraw this offer without notice.

I can confirm that you do get the points on in-store orders for photos!

Although they need to be picked up when an event is on to get any extra points!

Wow what fun I had took about an hour in store, at the kodak print station :rotfl:
But the result is I went to the advantage card point first and found a 20% off photo processing meaning my photos came to £78.24, then I asked the SA who said yes you do get the extra points, so I then looked around to add £21 to my order, not difficult with a baby needing dummies and a pack of nappies, then I found a baby gift ideal for 1st birthday parties invited to (ELC cat and dog wooden puzzles £3 each on 3 for 2) they look worth a lot more than that.

So I spent £106 in total and came away with 2024 points :T
So for 1956 photos on a 24hr service was 97.80 so I saved £19.56, so all in all a good points booster when I was going to get my phots developed anyway, and I would suggest doing as I did if the points offer is going off the next day, actually go to the counter and pay in advance for your photos like I did, so I know I have my points, and not paying the shocking price of .16p per print to get your photos in 1hr
    HTH :)

Thanks for the info! I hope my bonus points vouchers can also be used at the event!
