The area is not blessed with hotels, sadly.

If I recall there was lots of extra transport the last time the boys were in town.

Hampden is poor for hotels etc but the parking is easy, plenty everywhere and no real traffic jams even for sold out gigs !

Details are posted on the Hampden web-site nearer the time

Might be easier to walk to a nearby railway station and get the train into the city

I think Mount Florida train station will be mobbed, but I'd walk to Shawlands and get a bus/train/taxi from there, or indeed park your car there.

Close to the Ivory is "The Boswell" in Mansionhouse Road, both are only a 10 minute walk. On the other side of Queen's Park is "the Ewington" in Queens Drive. That is three all within 10 minutes easy walking distance.

Chances are they will all be fully booked by now for that night, now that I think about it.
  • There's the KingsPark hotel in Rutherglen, far enough away to possibly still have space, but near enough for a walk, or even the train.
