That's pretty cool. Anyone used them before?
Site is a bit slow for me right now.0 -
Am I being really thick (ok, pls don't answer that lol), does this mean essentially BOGOF, whatever you purchase you'll get another free on top ?
Thanks,
pippitypipI know I'm in my own little world, but it's ok - they know me here!

How come most of the best before dates are in July 2010?0
-
I've used them before and every is just as it say which is 100% extra free. But having said that, when I used them about a month ago they were giving 200% extra free. I ordered 10 bottles of ginger and lemon stir fry sauce which obviously ended up being 30 bottles. Needless to say there is enough bottles to feed the whole town.
Overall everything was fine, but do remember that its on food items only, and what i remember from last time it did not include snacks.0 -
I've used them, ther same as the above user when there was 200% free on food items, 30 tins beans, 30 tins soup 30 jars stir fry sauce & 3 jars pickles for £10 something delivered.
Most of the stuff is short dated or out of the best before date, hence the cheap price, but the stuff they sell should last for ages & ages so not really problem.0 -
Will this start at midnight tonight do you think?:A0

I'm not buying but just having a nosey at the site. The lemon and ginger is buy 10 get 10 free so with the code dose this mean you will get another 20 free?

I would have thought so, on their facebook page it says,
Big Brands For Less Pleas DO NOT TRY TO USE COUPONS CODES before the start dated that is shown on the website or after the expire date as any recieved will NOT be processed, thanks,
after midnight should be fine.
The bread mix if there's any left & isn't all in my house by now is brilliant.
I am trying hard to resist as I really don't need anything else. Don;t forget that there is likely to be a flour shortage & rocketing prices so might be worth getting some in for that price. I'm currently using bread flour & mix that's several months out of date & it's still fine & rising well.0 -
There is the option to collect from shop. This knocks almost £10 off my bill. Do they only have the shop in Cambridgeshire?0
-
Yes they only have the one shop in Cambridge.
Regards the lemon and ginger I would think you'd get 40 lol!
I've bought off Big Brands before and can highly recommend. There is another thread on the Food forum here:

HTH.
ETA: The 100% offer is for food only, not household goods, snacks, sweets and drinks.
Also this is what Big Brands say on their facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/BigBrandsForLess
100% FOC only means Food - grocery items NO sweets and chocolate or drinks - THE OLD FASHIONED KITCHEN CUPBOARD.0
