Do you guys think the shops will have sales early this year because of the imposition of increased VAT in January? I want to get lots of furniture. oooh knock at door.

I love the atmosphere of christmas, i hate the commercialism part of it though, especially with working where I do, the lighting part of it (esp in our garden) just adds to the atmosphere. It is a time for 'goodwill to all' lets hope that carries through. I hope things also settle down for 3 dogs so christmas can be great for her too, x

Yes Kit sales are on all the time now. Sounds like your going to be busy now sesrching for some nice furniture,

I do know where you can get a nice dinning room table and chairs from.. :rotfl::rotfl:

i would imagine that stores will promote buying before the V.A.T goes up but may wait til after chrimbo to make reductions. I guess it all depends on how sales are going over the next month.

A quick hello to 3Dogs, Mr 3Dogs and all the little 3Dogses...and friends of the same.

Been a bit full of busy at work etc but just thought I would fly by and say a quick hello and hope Mummy 3dogs is still making good progress. Sounds like she needs looking after in a proper care home, hope you manage to find a good one.
