Hi folks,
Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hope everybody is good, I have been busy this week, what with badminton and house stuff.
However, my social life is not up to much. I am currently in work. Doing 8pm till 8am for saturday, sunday and monday night. I am covering a new project on the plant. No rest for the wicked.
I hate night shifts, especially the last 4 hours, were it really drags.
As for meeting a nice girl, no chance :rotfl:

Well you lot can certainly talk can't you? It's took me 20 minutes to catch up and I've only been away for 2 1/2 hours :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Mam was good again - I had mixed a toffee mooler-rice with some single cream and she lapped it up, scraping the bowl out till is was all gone. She kept saying "this is nice" and "Mnn lovely". then she drank her probiotic drink in record time and also a 2/3 cup of orange squash. Her voice did sound a bit rough when we got there, as if her chest was bad, but that got back to normal as she fed.
I caught the guy who sorts and serves their food and arranged salmon and brocolli bake for her tomorrow as I didn't think she was up to roast beef and Yorkshire Pudding but there again ..... the way she ate today, it won't be long .......
Poor Mr 3Dogs will be trying to sleep with the dogs keep barking at fireworks, I would imagine
I know what it is like SSA with dogs that are frightened like yours, we had one who was terrified of thunder and fireworks and would try to bury himself into the tiniest space - there was a thunderstorm on day when we were out and he ripped the fitted carpet to shreds from the corner by the door back into almost the middle of the room (and it was a fairly new carpet too) and clawed the back of the door too with deep gouges. We used to get tablets from the vets for him after that, which did help, but you can't always predict when the noise will beMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Thanks Beanie - she has been referred to a nursing home and we are waiting for that to be sorted out, unfortunately it is on a permanent basis, for long-term nursing care
