My delicate little 5 year old great-neice was wonderful in her school play - they don't do a nativity for the youngest bairns, but what they did was a snowman play, with the half-dayers being snowflakes floating down (flapping their arms and spinning round) with a suitable song, then the first year class (including Grace) were snowmen, doing a 'ten green bottles' sort of thing but it was the sun thawing them out and they fell to the ground, again singing their song. The other kids were in full outdoor winter clothes singing about and making a snowman (not a real one I hasten to add, though it could have been because the heating was broken) lots of feet stomping and singing little songs. In this age of Child Protection no one was alowed to take photos or videos of the performance, but could photograph their own child only, after the performance

Aw cute 3Dogs. Bet you were very proud. Hope you got there early for the best seats.. like 45 mins early if anything like our school. I have it sorted. I go right on time and have to stand at the back - see the lot haha.

In the school DD is in noone is allowed to take any photographs of any children but you sign for parental consent to have the performance videoed and a single pro photo taken. Then you have to buy the lot - not daft are they?!

My brother went to see Mam at 12.40 pm and she was awake and bright. She was watching TV with him when we arrived a couple of hours later, after the school play. My brother left to get bus home and then we stayed till 6 pm - my sister had the great idea of dunking a biscuit in tea for Mam to see if she could eat that, and she loved the bourbon we gave her like this. In fact she asked for another one and ate that too :T :T She then ate half of her dinner (mashed potato and mincey gravy) and a few spoonfulls of a lemon dessert before clearing off a small bowl of ice cream. We had a really good laugh and a giggle. Her meds came about 5.20 pm and the nebuliser worked fine today, taking 18 minutes. We waited for that to finish and cleared up, before leaving at 6 pm

When we left the ice outside was terrible and the front passenger door of the car was frozen shut so my sister had to ride in the back. Then, when I was dropping her off at her house, she went to open the window to open the door as it has child-proof locks on the back doors, and she couldn't as the window was frozen shut too  I had to go round and open the door for her. The main road was OK but you could see it starting to ice up, and the side roads were treacherous, so glad I got home safely. Mind you, they are promising that the thaw is to start around here tomorrow ;)

Hope your MOT goes OK tomorrow Miche - fingers crossed :D

We got there at 1 pm for a scheduled 1.30 pm start and got the front row, but my neice had told us to sit there or stand at the back, 'cause she was in 3rd row and couldn't see much when they did the parents' performance the other day
