Hello sweetie. I have a spring in my step. Wonder why? Work was cool. Have a mountain of new marking for tomorrow and am taking the day off whilst workmen are here making sure they finish all the jobs properly. Ha ha!
It is freezing. Frost on floor but most of the snow has gone. I had an NSD but a charity collector just popped round and i gave him £10 does that count? he is genuine he is a local character some idiot left him for dead in a cycling car accident two years ago and he recovered and now walks 80-100 miles to raise money for the charity. Will i still have an NSD? I dont mind but it would be cool if collections were excluded.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Hullo!
Darnit to the snow 3Dogs. Get those mullerlights scoffed me dear
It 'tis a good day :j
You have your NSD sw, I think thats fab. Some people have their charitable donanions taken straight from their salary so I raise my hand to vote in favour for a NSD for you.
DH been off today (had car for school run :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j) so we've been out and about. DD (little one) kept saying I looked like a scarecrow  DH laughing all the time. Walked around for 2 hours 2HOURS with a 'birds nest' effect at the back of my head

So glad you had the car i told my students about you struggling in the cold.
Am happy too Miche.
Soooo cold. Am going to start to read To Kill a Mockingbird tonight.
Going to check on pie. Currently heating it in oven. I am so glad so i have had an NSD. Can't believe how easy it was. I didn't go for a cup of tea i took a warm flask with me instead. Hooray. I will be saving £15-20 a week let's say £3.00 every working day it is much more most of the time going to check it on the demotivator. Holy moly £750!!! Gosh i can save for so many useful things.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I'm back guys - just had my dinner - mushroom rissoto made by my lovely brother (yummy) followed by half an individual lattice topped plum pie (2 for 25p in whoopsies yesterday at Mr M's) with a spoonful of double cream

Guess that is my Monday night tread out of the way - by the way, my brother did not tell me how much butter he had used in the rissoto till we were nearly finished  It was a James Martin recipe I think - either him or Jamie Oliver anyway

And yes, it is a good day today :j :j :j :j Very happy for some reason - some days are like that, aren't they??
Glad you had the use of the car today Miche - it's times like this you wish you could run two cars, but that is too expensive
Glad you had a good day at work today too SW :j :j

oh beanie so sorry. Is it worth writing to head office? i reckon so as a goodwill gesture they are more likely to be generous. That is how big business works they pressurise their staff so the senior ones can be more generous.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

That doesn't sound like very good customer service to me Beanie - I would certainly write to them - I think I have an email address somewhere for the MD or someone else in charge that people use when getting fobbed off my customer service desk - I'll look it out for you

Beanie this thread is a bit old but it may be useful. Other people have similar issues and may have resolved them with an email or a letter. I have only seen first few posts i dont know if name of MD Terry Leahy is still valid.
