Why is it than when you mention the word food I wake up? ~Am going to read a chapter from Hector's Happiness Book before the end of the day too so Firewalker and Frit will be proud of me. Back later. Decorating is coming on a treat and my house may be complete by the end of Friday.

I think i am going to do a session on MSE with my class later this week or next. Bet they would love to hear about bank accounts and money saving tips. That's what brought me here in the first place. It is very cloudy here but scenery is stunning as usual. What a happy day.

Hectors Happiness book? sw is that a published book? Wish my house was complete, I do. Still so much to do to make it into a home. I am hanging on to the hope that i'll have my own place in the future.

Listen to this.. so sad *I hear the scoffs :rotfl:* I have a rattan basket just waiting to have logs in it for beside the fire of the H's household.. one day. Till then it's got dirty washing in it :rotfl:

I am not sure if it started with Hypno or the Memory Girl Thread but Firewalker and Frit have highly recommended this book: Hector and his Search for Happiness, Francois Lelord. I bought it from a cut price internet site. It teaches us to appreciate things and i am hoping it will give me a holistic perspective on things. Right i must shoot off. Didn't sleep last night have been up since 2am and have so much to do. I hope Susan is ok at the hospital and there is good news. And girlfriend, you sort out that washing pile i might even do some ironing. As soon as the decorator's go on Friday I am unpacking and i will have a carboot or ebay all of my books. I have given lots to charity but i am going to have to perk up my MSE skills as i dont want to slip up.

Do you know something Miche? i might not be well today but i have a feeling of contentment. That's how life should be. See the glass half full rather than half empty.

We just wanted to check you were ok. And prove we had the correct phone number don't worry Mr 3Dogs. Well done on sorting out the van. Gosh difficult work. Do you have to pay for a retest? If so that is not nice at all.

Hello 3dogs, sorry to hear your mother isn't improving much and that she is unlikey to be able to go home soon. And the care in that hospital does sound terrible, I know they are probably underfunded and the staff overworked etc but thats no comfort at all when its your loved one that isn't getting the best treatment. Glad that she has got you and family to keep an eye out for her.

Bad news about the Van failing the MOT Mr3dogs, but good that you have been able to fix the problems yourself - at least that part is money saving.

    Hello to everyone else.
