No SW I just want to go to bed, and DS has been naughty all day as was cooped up in the house. DH slipped on the ice on the way home, so hurt his back
so he ordered chinese and went to bed. Shame as he came home early so he could spend time with DS. Hopefully he is better tomorrow so we can play with his birthday pressies, table football and stuff for the Wii fit. 0 -
Nectar points are worth double til 21 DEc.
So 500 points worth £5 in store I think
Oh that's good to know Beanie, as I only have about £8.70 worth of points as we hardly shop there and that took 2 years to get, but if it is now worth double, it's worth using them for something for Christmas

Thanks Beanie, have been saving my points to use to buy Xmas food, only have £10 saved so far in points, but £20 is good if it is double up! Plus have £3 LV too to use then and tesco vouchers. I haven't bothered to double them up though.
I think they have extended double up promotion due to bad weather. Will go and find post.0 -
Hiya Aureol, you seem to have such a yuk day today, well recently actually with the ring thing too

it's par for the course for me! 3Dogs. We bought DH's parents presents to post up as we can't be there for anniversary, and the postage cost me more than the items themselves because I didn't receive them until yesterday and one today and I wanted to courier everything up as it would be cheaper. And to top it all of the main present hasn't arrived but the box did! And I paid for special delivery and they have a message saying that due to bad weather they are not promising next day delivery!0

3Dogs would be here but she may have gone to the carehome. She is in Newcastle and has been apart from Mr 3Dogs (to look after her mam) Mr 3dogs is a regular poster now too. 3dogs' mum is vvv ill. She has been moved from hospital to a care home. Lots of mistakes have been made and 3dogs has moved up there for the past 5 weeks to keep an eye on her mam. She is very strong but it is very hard. We have made lots of new friends on MSE since our return and our old ones came back with us to keep us company. You wont know them yet but i would trust this lot with my life and they will make you welcome as they are the nicest bunch of people ever.
Good to see you on this cold day? Do you have the day off too?
Hiya SW, no, not had any days off. Here in London we've managed to open every day. Not sure the kids appreciate school being open. My knee is much better now, almost back to normal but it doesn't like the cold.
No I didn't take the job in Guernsey, would have taken it if it were in Jersey though. Still in the old job, it's not too bad but I'm working like a mad person. 55 hour weeks are the norm. Can't keep up with all the posts on here, you'll have to do my a daily synopsis SW
Well hello there MoneyPenny - and how are you? I've seen you on the NSD thread and thought you knew about my diary - perhaps you didn't know that SW, etc were here too - you're welcome to join us at any time petal - and yes, we are as mad as ever - but fun, fun, fun and very friendly, as you know

Sorry to hear about your mum 3Dogs, I know it's awful when the oldies are really sick. I wish her well and hope you don't wear yourself out fighting the system for fair treatment. I remember that part of my aunt and uncle's care vividly, having to chase, cajole and shout very loudly till things were done properly.
Here's to the weekend folks :beer:0 -
it's this one beanie, but it does end Sunday
