It has taken till i am 40 to figure that out. Do you know how many men have proposed to me or asked me out and i said no as i was scared???? No regrets though. my life is starting. Just got to teach someone to cook ???

  • To be perfectly honest I am thinking about moving back to the north west, as soon as I can sell this stupid house, once I have finished decorating.

I have no real friends up here. One of my friends got married and has a baby on the way, so I never see him anymore and my other mate does not come out much anymore either. All my friends at badminton live in Newcastle and are in long term relationships and therefore never come out, well apart from the Christmas do, and all my work mates live miles away and that is about that.

I am a bit sad really

Frit - I was talking about that the other day - I think a move back to your roots would be good for you - some sort of closure too ;)

hey this thread has helped to change my mind. I never talk to men for long enough to realise they are not hypocritical shysters. Now i am learning. I was a Miss Havisham (from great expectations) you k now. Not now.

Petal do it up. Move by nice people. Location makes all the difference sometimes. Where up north would you like to go? will you still stay in touch with us?
