  • we have 2 small kids (5 and 1) so no doubt they'd be cartoons on quietly. Maybe music in the kitchen.

Depends, what sort of get together are you planning (or is this just a general question)?

Well we don't have people round on Christmas Day but as soon as I get up I put christmassy music on, I normally make a playlist on youtube and have that on when the kids open their presents :)

  • Definitely Christmas Music, we don't watch a lot of telly Christmas Day either, just record the things we really want to watch when we have peace and quiet.

We usually have to listen to all the new cd's that have been given as gifts.
