electoral roll

wasnt sure entirely where to put this.
im curretnyl living at home with parents, having moved back in on a temporary basis after having lived away from home for a while.
i was on the electroal roll at mum and dads before moving out and then subsequently on the electoral roll at my new addresses.
im planning on staying with mum and dad for probably maximum 6 months before moving on again.
2 questions
should i apply to be put back on electoral roll while im here and then change again in 6 months time (or will he fact i was on it at this address be suficient?)
and secondly will making multiple application to change my electoral roll status affect me in any way?
the reason i ask is because i will proabbly be applying for credit shortly, but if it affects me adversely, i can easily hold off for 6 months.

Yes, get put back on the electoral roll. All you need to do is contact your local council. They get REALLY jumpy round here if people in the household haven't declared themselves................ And you'll be able to vote in the General Election!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0

As far as I know the electoral roll is now updated monthlyDon`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Yes the electoral roll is constantly updated. If you do not register at a new address you will remain on it at your old address. With regard to voting you would then need to go to the polling station for your old address. You cannot vote at any polling station only the one for your address. Alternatively you could ask for a postal vote. If you opt for a postal vote you cannot turn up at the polling station to vote, although you can hand in your postal vote, but you cannot put it into the ballot box.
Re credit rating - if a poor credit person moves into your old address and you are still registered there it will affect your credit rating.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

People died so you could have the chance to vote. Voting gives everyone the chance in the country to say what they want. Please use

I think they still use address info when calculating risk.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

people died for my RIGHT to vote
forcing people to vote is as bad as excluding people to vote
just my opinion of course0 -
David
So if you don't vote and everyone else took that attitude how do you decide who governs. If you waste your vote you have no right to moan about the system.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)

im not suggesting everyone takes my attitude. i have a right to vote, which i choose not to exercise. i believe my vote if i use it should go to someone worthy of it
i, as of yet in my adult life have not come across one party who i believe is worthy of it
other people have a belief in certain parties and their 'promises' and they do exercise their right to vote. good for them
surely though you would agree (as would all those who died for my RIGHT to vote) my vote should go to someone who i think deserves it rather than using it for the sake of it?0
