May be affordable, but if it needs knocking down, or is unmortgageable, it aint really that affordable.
As I said, all these sorts of houses do is prove one point, ignoring every single other possible factor.
Looking further into it seems to have got your backs up though, so for that, I apologise.
!!!!!! hell talk about moving the goal posts, turning this into a muddle fest, just admit its affordable.
Seems your back is up.Official MR B fan club,dont go............................0 -

Please believe me when I sincerely say that I don't like agreeing with Hamish. But your ability to twist debates and arguments is like nothing I've ever seen before. I give in.0 -

Please beleive me when I sincerely say that I couldn't give two hoots. This will just be another thread where various posters now jump in to get some of the action from your post.
All this is because I've suggested that theres something wrong with the 35k house.
We get "does it matter, its 35k, its affordable".
All I'm suggesting is you need to look at the reasons it's so affordable, yet no ones buying it, even with a 50% reduction. Otherwise, were just looking at a price, and drawing conclusions....and part of that conclusion is that people "want too much" and its not "good enough" for them....which I think it's wrong to draw such conclusions on when there's obviously reasons for these prices, and reasons they are still sitting there, and even BTL's are interested.0 -

Does it matter though, some one may want a house for £35K and may not give an damn about what everyone else thinks.
It was one example, there were 530 more in one county.0 -
The BMW could be the estate agent's car.I don't but here is a £110K house, they are running a BMW X5, are you really wanting me to believe no one gets paid over £20K in liverpool and that the average house price is still £114k?, £114K could not be supported without wages.
