Well once again Iam starting fresh. and this time starting from 1st of November. With aims and challenges... I think maybe I have a fighting chance. Although Im taking it day by day.
So Happy New Year to all and wish me all the best with fighting my shoe and clothing addiction to see light and save for that beautiful house I have always dreamt of.
On November 15th, which is 13 days away, and Iam definitely counting, I will deposit and go from there.
Lets hope I dont spend between then and now.

I do not need that beautiful zip-around wallet, I do NOT need that beautiful zip-around wallet, I DO NOT NEED THAT BEAUTIFUL eel skin vibrant zip-around wallet.... Alright Online Shopping seems to be my downfall.
Beautiful dresses and amazing things all a click away. I can even shop in bed! Ridiculous.
So firstly I will be de-toxing from the computer, well mainly the computer away from work, or just shopping online de-toxing! Lets try that step firstly and go from there.
The weeks agenda:
Today- No Spend Day, Cook up at storm when I get home.
Thursday- No Spend Day, Late night shopping so need to keep myself occupied- possible beach walk might be in order.
Friday- Day off work, House Work and Washing here I come....
Saturday- Catching up with my girlfriends for coffee, Max spend $10.
I also this week need to get petrol, lets see if I can get away with Max spend until Pay Day on the 15th with $30, as its all im allowing myself.
Monthly Commandments...
- I will have $30 to last me until the 15th of November
- I will not check my CSA Bank until this month
- I will not buy anything for myself.
I love challenges, Im loving that Im on a 2 Day NSD's. Until tomorrows check in xAIMING: Debt Free Date 15th JULY 2012Car Loan: 9000/ 7900

Well only half hour of work today, and its late night shopping. I made it through the day, only peeking on a online shop once- which is awesome- I made it!
I found a great website with some amazing recipes, and one that caught my eye- Home made Twix Bars, so with a day off of work tomorrow this will be on my agenda. I can not wait to give it a go. Will report back.
On another front, I had a call today about a new job that i applied for a month or so ago, and got down to the final 2, and then missed out, the other candidate had experience etc- apparently she didnt want to work in that field anymore and wanted to study etc and they phoned and have asked me to take the job. Im going in Monday after work to listen to finer details and what-not and although it might not be the same as what Iam on, wage-wise and Full-Time, its a step in the right direction to build a career and start enjoying work, instead of moping about, possibly online shopping in a job im not passionate about.
Really looking forward to the great aspects and opportunities that are arising in my life. Well Im signing off for the week. Wish me all the successful for not going into Debt this weekend and sticking to my plans

Well lets just say the weekend was not overly successful, was hoping for a No Spend, but that oviously was a joke.
I think I will make it through to the 15th payday. Thank god. Although this monthly pay idea is starting to kill me.
I purchased 1x Christmas Present today on my paypal account with money I had made off ebay, so thats one less thing I have to budget/pay for. Which is awesome!
I have worked out my budget for November 2010 pay and have budgetted that I will be aiming to save minimum $1100 for the month. And then in December, possibly similar, pending activities etc, as for Christmas I will be asking my family for money and vouchers to help me out throughout the coming months etc, and keeping my shopping record from Nov 1 on track.
Although no shopping record, slightly blurry as I was able to purchase something on my ebay money that i made with it. So technically not spending my money.
Lets make some lunches for the week and keep focused. 1x week to go. And I think I can do and make it. Iam positive. Lets hope I stay that way. I need to focus and learn from my previous mistakes.

Second report for the day...
Made it through the work day without spending any money. Yay. Another No Spend Day for the month, Im seem to be going ok.
I have 1 hour left of work, and will whip up a stiryfry or some yummy pasta meal with bits and pieces from the freezer and enough for tomorrows lunch.
Beach walk is in order. Beautiful Australian Summer is in sight, I love that its still balmy and light at 7ish. Will take the puppy down for a splash.
Now onto sights for tomorrow and ways I can make it through the rest of the week and weekend. Any yummy food recipes for cheapo dinners and lunches?
Also great weekend ideas for cheap budgets?

Another day, another dollar...
Feeling a little bit lonely in my diary
Working pretty hard at work at the moment, fairly busy and on the go, therefore no time to really spend my pay before I even get it. Although under a week until Monthly pay day and really looking forward to trying my new resign and budgets out. Really focused on keeping as much money in my account as possible. No forseen bills or problems.
I will be looking at paying off my car July 2012, which is about 18months away, and by then I will be 25 years old and my plan is to by a house later in 2012, with 20-30k deposit or to use to do up the house etc...
Would it be better to use all for deposit or keep some to do it up for rental purposes? As my partner and I will continue to live in his house.

No Spend Day yesterday! Woo Hoo...
Easily making through the week. Although shouldnt speak too soon...
Today (Thursday)- I have to purchase a Baby Shower pressie. Which is $30-$40
Friday- Netball entrance fee for coaching $7, and lunch $20
Saturday- Petrol $20 (driving to babyshower and Going Away Party), $10-$20 a Beer or two...
Sunday- Meeting the girls for our own Wine Trip to the Barossa, $20 in my purse for the day.
Which is a total spend until Monday of about $100, which I have put aside $115. So I might just make it. Hopefully all works out and then my monthly pay goes in and I can work and stick to my budgets etc. Things are looking positive still.
Bit down at the moment. In Jan, two of our friends got engaged D&D- After being together 1.5 years and just moving in together etc and just recently bought a house, In Aug another couple of friends S&L got engaged after max 2 years together, and they have bought a house together and what-not, and over the weekend M&K got engaged after 1.5 years together and bought land and building a house together.
And although Iam super happy for all our friends and there future and lives together, and I should be happy that me and OH live together, in HIS house, I cant but always think and this always play on my mind that all these other couples can build a life and future and assests together and declare that they want to be together, yet we do not. Nearly 4 years together we havent bought a house together, got engaged- and this is really starting to get to me, I shouldnt let it effect me, But it is..... Someone keep me sane.
Please...AIMING: Debt Free Date 15th JULY 2012Car Loan: 9000/ 7900

As long as you are happy what difference does being engaged make?

HELLOOOOOOOOO! I am just across the water from you in new zealand! Well done on starting to control your money rather than letting it control you.
No you don't need a wallet made from eel eeewwww. Sounds gross to be honest. But then I am about as far from a fashionista as you can get and still be dressed in female clothes:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!
You have done something you can be proud of ie getting some NSD's. I am guessing that in the past you would have viewed this as impossible?
Well done on getting called back on the job. New starts all round for you then.
Are you originally from UK or Australian, I am from the UK and have finally just got my residency over here so looking at the house buying stuff too.
Just to ask the loan you have on the car, can you overpay on it and save some interest? Or are there penalties? If there aren't it might pay you to throw some of the disposable income each month at overpayments.
You seem to be a bit 'not happy' that you live in HIS house. Maybe you need to ask him about longer term. Ie when you are debt free, he could sell his house and then you could buy something that is yours, ie yours and his. It would then mean you had some choice in location etc. I am sure to contribute to the bills and things at his house, but it seems to make you uncomfortable somehow?
Ref the relationship thing. Have you talked to him about this? In the start off the 3 other couples, are they all your age, or a bit older? He might feel that 25 or so is too young to be getting married. Maybe he sees marriage as the precursor to children and so isn't ready for that yet?
Either way, if his apparent ignoring of the engaged issue is bothering you, then you need to talk to him about it. He may be blissfully unaware that this means anything to you. He might think that you are OK just living together, that you are in fact common law married etc, and don't need the piece of paper.
Or it might be that actually marrying was never his plan, and you will need to rethink the relationship. But until you talk to him, you aren't going to know.
good luck, and sorry you have been lonely. Try posting last thing at night your time. Cos then you will get people who are just getting up seeing it:D

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

beanielou- You are exactly right, and I think I was having an overdramatic week hehe. But have you to keep me on the straight and narrow. I would rather be happy and completely in love than stuck into something because of a title etc. Thanks for support.
Chevalier- Thank you for your support also. I didnt really classify the NSD's as something so big, but when I think about it you are right, i should look at positives.
A Kiwi.... hehehe God help us hehe.
Originally from the Uk and moved to Australia. Just like me looking for buy a house, how exciting? Have you any plans or ideas or goals set as to when you would like to do this? As would be good to have someone on the same track as me...
As for being a fashionist, you would know by now Im on fashion-detox. No purchases for myself. And im sticking to it. Yay.
I got paid today, made it through the weekend also.
So now for the budgets for the month and what-not. Today is a complete write-off. As its payday and I have bills and petrol etc to get going with. So hopefully tomorrow start NSD's. And many of them.
I have already started thinking about Chrissie and presents, and put $100 away this month for it. I already have my sisters present, OH sister sorted. So thats a start.
Yes, very promising about the job aspect. Had an interview with a Bank on Friday, and hopefully a few more in the coming weeks. Looking to build a career- Although advice required, will it be better to build a career with all these jobs Iam applying for (starting at permanent part-time 4 days a week) instead of sticking at my awesome paid job, doing something im not 100% happy with?
Wish me luck with now only going food shopping for the day and nothing else.
