Pay slips

Hiya i want to be open here ...


well i am working fulL TIME and my problem is my company paying me check at the moment but not giving me any pay slip at the moment ,,, and i am looking forward to apply for the loan ....

how much chances are that they will ask for my pay slips .. well if they wanna review my bank account statements then ist gonna be fine...

any suggestion please ...

  • I think it'll depend on who you apply to.

    Northern Rock only request payslips on loans over 10K. At least that's what it said in the recent literature I received when I took out a loan with them.

  • If your credit score is ok then banks should not want to see payslips.
    If yours is not A1 they may want to.
    I thought it was a legal obligation on your employer to provide you with payslips (for one it confirms that they are paying your tax and NI) - perhaps some legal eagles on here can confirm this.
    What I would do in the meantime is photocopy your wages cheques and attach them them to relevant statement in case of need.

    As an employer, I can confirm that it is a legal obligation to provide a statement of pay & deductions. You shouldn't even need to ask!

    well they are deducting my tax etc but they gonna start pay slip from next month ..... here is one more question

    what if someone is self employed in thsi case what they need to show ?

    If a self employed person is applying for a loan they'd probably need to provide accounts, tax returns and bank statements for at least three years.

    Sounds like you're not sure if you're employed or self employed.
