£2. 50 for 1litre! that may explain why I lost interest in it. The "equipment" is nothing more than a plastic container which is placed in an insulated container which is then filled with boiling water and left for 8 hours .(a flask ,then )
So actually there is no reason why I cant use my Easiyo flask and make yougurt your way, is there?
Bingo! another impulse buy recycled.
The Easiyo mixes are lovely but they are expensive. Between times, I just use a couple of tablespoons full of natural yogurt (Easiyo or any other live yogurt) mixed with UHT milk (cartons or Candia bottles) plus mix in with some extra dried powdered milk. Just shake it all up in the container in the usual way and put it in the hot water as usual. It's fine that way and much cheaper. If it's too thin, add more milk powder or drain through a clean cloth, not forgetting to catch the whey to use.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0
