No, it needs to use GPS to verify that you are when you are meant to be when you complete your task.

For example the task might be to take a photo of a display in Sainsburys, it needs to know you were at the Sainsburys the task was for, and not the one five doors down from you.

Does it have to be an iphone? I have a smart phone, would it work with that? I have the internet and gps on it.

I think there is only an app available for iPhone, no way of doing this any other way
