Wanted: Good Sunday lunch pub West Midlands?

Can anyone suggest good quality/value food pubs, preferably with non-smoking dining areas, near Sutton Coldfield or East Birmingham please?

It serves a lovley carvery every day of the Week, Sundays are busy as you can imagine so book if you can, choice of meats and help yourself to as much veg as you like, There is a menu if you do not ant a carvery and there is a vrgetarian option too.
    Prices for Carvery is £7.95

  • Thanks Dawn that's a great suggestion as I'm visiting friends in 3 places and Walsall happens to be one of the locations. Thanks again
  • We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal at the Toby Carvery Broadway North in Walsall today/yesterday. Although, we had to wait 30 minutes for a table as they don't take phone bookings for Sunday lunch and it was extremely busy, it was well worth the wait.

The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful plus the staff were very efficient and couldn't have been friendlier. The atmosphere was relaxed with families of all ages enjoying themselves. I will definitely return there again and can't recommend it highly enough.

Thanks again Dawn for your help in making our day out so successful.:j

  • Hi happy_miser. I am so glad you tried the Toby Cravery, we have been to a number around this area and have never had a bad meal, we are going to the Toby Carvery in Dudley for Boxing day, we went for our Christmas Lunch there last year and it was great.

If your looking for somwwhere great to eat, why not try the Fountain in Walsall. It's only £9.50 for three courses and completely homemade. One course is only £6.50 but they also offer smaller portions for kids, Hope this is helpful.
