Well im just plain fed up with owing people and companies money
fed up of red letters, court judgements etc. time to change everything.
So here goes i'm challanging myself to clear my debts by this time next year.
I have no idea how i'm going to do it but i'm sure going to try.
So First step. Sort out what i owe and who i owe.
Step two. Sort out what i need to pay first and what i can put off until later in the 12 month target.
Step three. Pay the damn bills.
Step four dont get into debt again.
so step one
i have worked out who i owe and what i owe, i will have to ask the bank to freeze my overdraft so that i can not worry about paying that off ( i hope they will). but can clear my other debts first. suprisingly some are less than i thought
.
So i can now work out what i need to pay off. but how to do that? DO i contact the gas company and ask them to freeze the debt with them for six months?then pay off the council tax debt from last year? will they freeze it for me? or should i pay a little bit off both.
How do i ensure that i don't get into debt again. the debts that i have had haven't been from me spending foolishly (well maybe a little) its more from the fact i can't manage my money. I have tried budgeting, it all works out fine on paper yet when i comes to putting it into practice it never works.
Am i destined to be like this forever? :O god i hope not i'll be bald before im 30 (omg i already am). Just how do i do it.

A penny saved is a penny earned.
The less you spend the more you have.
The less you spend the more you have.

The fact that you have posted here, means that NO you are not going to be like you have been forever:D
If you can work through the sticky by southernscouser at the top of this forum, then you can produce a statement of affairs. You will be amazed how much people can suggest you save, so more to throw at the debts
