Duracell Rechargeable Batteries Sainsburys Glitch

I discovered this buying something I already needed so bit of a bonus for me, but hopefully also use to somebody else:

Sainsbury's (I was at one on the Oxford ring road) has a Duracell "Mini Charger" pack (charger to take 2 AA or AAA batteries sort of egg shaped and plugs straight into the socket no no dangly wires and two rechargeable AAs) for a third off at the moment, which should make it £8.66 rather than £12.99. But when I got it to the till I was only charged £3.89 :money:

Don't know if this is a gltch in the store I was in or country wide, but hopefully some other Oxford residents might benefit anyway!

The mini-chargers come in different colours. And one of the colours in my local stores is cheaper then all the rest.

So Wonder if that is it cheaper than a 3rd off. What colour was it?

    It's actually NOT A GLITCH !!!!

ONLY the BLACK one but it's actually a DIFFERENT PRODUCT.

    The £12.99 >>> £8.66 one (3 colours) has a different barcode - 5000394092860 - and has 2 x AA ACTIVE 2000mAh cells

The £3.89 version (BLACK) is 5000394079809 and ONLY has a pair of 1700mAh AAs in it.
