New to this site and need a bit of advice.

Hi to all.
I am looking for some advice but am not too sure if i am in the right palce.

My husband and I brought a car in 1999 we were paying off the loan on time and all was in order. 2001 came along and my husband and I split up. I gave him back the car as i could not afford to run it. He then gave the car back from where we brought if from and was told that he still owed money on the debt. I have a letter from Thames credit ltd dated the 17/7/2002 thanking him for payment. he then over the years got moved around and got lost in the system. We are still paying for this car 10 years after we brought it and believe me it did not cost that much to buy. We are now paying Aktiv Kapital £50.00 a month but the debt does not seem to be going down.
Is there anythiny that i can do Please.

What do you still owe and how much was the car in the first place?

Is that the normal payment or have they agreed a reduced amount?

What was the amount of the original loan, how much do you currently owe and whose name was the loan in?
