Book about free/cheap stuff for kids

Does anyone remember a book called something like "free stuff for children", which was basically lots of free or cheap (less than a pound or two) things to send away for by post? It was intended for kids and it had a bit at the beginning telling you how to write a nice letter asking for whatever it was you wanted. I had one (far too long ago) but I can only vaguely remember the contents. It may have been an annual publication. It was a thick paperback. I seem to recall it included things like a free Ladybird book about the history of coffee (from some coffee company, possibly Nescafe) and cheap stationery and peg dolls (from a museum perhaps) and similar type offers - of which, there were loads.

I can't remember the exact title or publisher and am having little luck googling. The nearest books I've found are an American series, of which this edition looks the most like the book I remember: http://www.amazon.com/Free-Stuff-Kids-Maureen-Maddren/dp/1850157022/ref=sr_1_9?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1288564814&sr=1-9 And an Australian book, which sounds slightly similar, to some extent, but is clearly Australian and not British: http://www.judyoz.com/ccp0-prodshow/free-stuff-kids-2009-australia-new-book.html

My kids are a little too young to write letters, so it's not really something I would rush out to buy for them. However, it is something that I would love to track down - even just to find out that it is no longer published - because it is really annoying me that I can't remember exactly what the book was called, let alone locate it at any bookstore!!

Any help appreciated. Even if you can only tell me that you remember this book too, so I don't feel totally mad! lol

No you are not mad, I remember this, it was brilliant! It would be great if you could still get it!

I am sure that a few years ago Hawkins, or someone similar did it, just looked at website but they don't do it now
