A friend of mine has moved to Sweden for a year and I want to send her a christmas and later a birthday present, but too cheap to pay additional postage.
Is there an Amazon/Play type company in Sweden someone could reccomend?
thanks:)

You could try eBay International Market to find items available in Sweden.
Or
If you go to Amazon.com, at the bottom, you'll see a list of international sites. The country closest to Sweden is Germany. This might be worth considering if you don't find what you're looking for elsewhere.
You might also find these links helpful [if delivery isn't too expensive that is]:
Amazon.fr - Shipping Costs - Europe
Amazon.de - Delivery
Amazon.co.uk - International Delivery Rates - Western Europe
And you could also try these comparison sites:
Bokfynd.nu - Books
Bokkap.se - Books
Bokpris - Books
Dvdpris - Movies
Kelkoo.se - All stuff
Pris-detectiv - DVD, cameras, computers
Pricerunner- All stuff
Prisjakt.nu - All stuff
Torget.se - All stuff
Copy & paste the website your viewing into the translation box here if you need to interpret what's on a specific site.0 -
Can you report back how you get on with the above comparison sites?
I just tried Bokfynd.nu and noticed that, although it brings up a list of store, it doesn't appears to bring up the prices.0 -
Seriously you will probably find it cheaper to buy something here and post it to over there even with the international postage.

Yeah, Adam is probably right. You could try searching the MegaShopBot and then find out from Royal Mail how much it is to post the item to Sweden.
Maybe consider this next time you need to send something.0
