Creditors letter

Does anyone know if Blair Oliver and Scott are the Halifax in house Debt collectors, My OH has an IVA and we had an overdraft on a joint account which was inclused in it, but his IP said that thie overdraft would also have to be included in the DMP which it has been and a payment amount has been agreed which is paid to them by Pay plan on my behalf, On saturday I have received a letter from this Comany saying that in order to satisfy a default which is registered against me with credit reference bureaux I ned to settle the account and that they may accept a reduced amount, I am very concerned about this and would appreciate any advice Many thanks

Yes, Blair Oliver & Scott are in house collectors for HBOS, which includes Halifax.

Presumably it is a default notice they have sent you?

If so, then that is pretty usual if an account is included in a DMP or IVA. Not great, but inevitable most of the time.
