According to my DH it was in the Belfast telegraph today... and someone has posted on the "Companies who use Famac" Thread about it too.tying hard to cut down grocery shop bill...0

Looks like a bit of confusion between Farepak and Famac then!0

Yes, Famac have definately ceased trading - they are a customer of the company that I work for and this is fact - their operations have been taken over by Home Delivery Network which is part of the Littlewoods group.0

I'm not a violent person, but I really would have enjoyed pelting the managing director of Famac with rotten vegetables.....and I get the feeling that I would only be the first in a long queue....0

So does this mean it's safe to order from those companies that used them now? I do not want a repeat of the disaster that was Famac delivery, but it would be nice to be able to use Boots online.0

I can tell you that it is now being run on an operational basis by all the same people that were involved in Famac other than the highest director level who are no longer involved so it may take a while for the English management to get a grasp of the thing and run it properly.0
