    A semi-good deal.

    The speakers dont come with any floor stands, so you would need to mount them on the wall, or buy some stands for them.

    The unit would connect to the tv through the HDMI output for dvd's etc, then the tv would connect to the unit through the optical link.

    If you have a lcd / plasma tv purchased since 2006, then you should be ok, and the system would play any sound that was played on the tv.
