How to choose an electric shaver for hubby?

Its on his Christmas wish list but I need some guy-help finding the right shaver for him.

I want a shaver which:

Is rechargable , via a cord and not a docking station, so he can use it while its still plugged in if he has to.

It needs to have some sort of trimmer for his side burns

Comes with good reviews

Any ideas welcome

I'm very happy with my Philips

Would include in your wish list , waterproof
Much easier to clean if you can place it under the hot tap

just bought my son a philips for his xmas. got it in boots for £74.99 with the special events points you get £12 worth of boots points back. so either lots of freebies for you or a razor that effectively costs £62.99 whichever way you want to look at it. Hubby has philips very happy with it as can wash it under the tap etc too, (as above).

Thanks realbairn, I saw that one on the boots website. Can you plug it into the mains to use it as well as using it as a cordless?

The Braun 7 790cc can be charged directly or from the cleaning station (which is very good), it has a trimmer and the battery life is at least 2-3 weeks per charge.

Its wins most electric razor group tests and without doubt the best electric razor i have ever used, the ultrasonic vibration really helps

the downside, its very expensive £180 from amazon even with £120 off ... :(

    should last 10+ years thou

  • You could look at user reviews on Boots.com/Argus/Amazon websites when you've narrowed it down a bit.
