Gifts from family overseas - taxable?

I was wondering if you could help me. If you receive regular money from your parents (out of their wage, which is taxed at their own country) from outside the EU, as gifts, is it taxable? What tax category does it come under?

You put my mind at rest on a day where you can't get hold of any accountant! I have to see one anyway, but it's good to have a piece of mind that it won't be taxable.
